The ceiling is magical, so it will represent the current weather of outside. Candles float in the air above the students, so they will always light your feasts. It's probably the busiest place there is, for there are people leaving, entering and checking the house standings at every moment available. In a corner, opposite to the main doors, stand four large hourglasses. Instead of sand, however, these recipients contain coloured gemstones; one colour for each of Hogwarts' houses.
