Alright, so this idea came to me when I began thinking about my writing future. In the last--what, four months?--my writing has fallen off the face of the planet. I lost interest in Harry Potter and almost in reading itself. As I've began to think more and more about my past relationship with writing a couple of things really point out: most of it was connected to the "Potterverse" but in essence, every character I play was really my own creation (even Harry Potter--after all I want him with Hermione, not Ginny) and I have always felt so deeply connected to each and every one of them. Like they are my family and an extension of myself. I find myself amazed sometimes when I look at a character and I wonder where the -hell- I ever thought of them, but nothing would ever work without them.
So, all of you came to this forum to write, most likely fantasy related but I highly doubt any of you really are still on the Potter boat, you're just addicted to past-time habits and long-loved memories from when you read the books for the very first time. So, perhaps now I should get to the point of this email.
I want to run a forum where we can all write---you're thinking: uh, duh... didn't we have that?---where we don't necessarily have to "apply" for each character and have a million profiles and accounts for each one, but how about one for each individual -writer- and you have your own collection of characters and stories? For example, I would have one account that is MINE and usernamed "Whitney Collins" as that would be my future-author-name and with that account, I'd have my collection of characters I'd write as. That way, you can keep all your writings for your characters connected to one single easy to find account. Makes things more professional, more organized and a hell of a lot easier. Perhaps could help you when submitting your novels later on in life :}
So, we would set up perhaps areas/genres to role play in with others interested in that area.

I've been missing this place so much It brought a smile to my face when I read the email.
I like this idea, a lot (: The usernames are cool, but I hate my surname so much. I think it'd just want Becki. That's just me being picky though. I can't really think of that much to say, apart from that I'm super glad this place isn't over and that we all really need a big chat and redo this place up! We had the best plot though... dammit.

Yea, it doesn't have to be your real name as many people don't like to give out their identity, but it could be a name you go by. I may just use Reign Flame, who knows

So I decided it would be a type of teen forum where we can all chat and share interests, one being our writing. It's based off of the "Canvas" idea and I have this so far:
